The Risk of using Puush (and other screenshot hosters)
Never trust Puush or any other screenshot hoster. Why? Well, look what a “Random Puush Bot” on Twitter from a friend posted lately:
You can’t see the whole image here (obviously) but these are indeed valid credit card information, read the “PS” below for more info. I blurred everything out to do a bit of damage control here but I think it’s too late already anyways…
This is just a little warning to all of you guys. NEVER EVER trust puush.me in any way or form. That said, don’t even do so with any other screenshot hoster, you’ll never know what random stuff will get discovered sooner or later by accident.
PS.: I’ve informed that guy instantly and yes I tested the credit card information on my own to see if it’s valid. I offered him the money back but did not yet receive a reply to the mail. I’ll update this entry once he has.
PPS.: He actually replied now, below you can find what he said.
Btw. I did give him back all of the money, not just what he wanted back.
